Une \u00e9quipe de recherche de l\u2019Inserm et d\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Paris, au sein du laboratoire \u00ab Toxicit\u00e9 environnementale, cibles th\u00e9rapeutiques, signalisation cellulaire et biomarqueurs \u00bb a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une \u00e9tude pr\u00e9liminaire pour explorer l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se selon laquelle les POPs pourraient favoriser le d\u00e9veloppement des m\u00e9tastases dans le cancer du sein. Leurs r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent une association entre l\u2019agressivit\u00e9 du cancer du sein et la concentration de certains POPs dans le tissu adipeux, en particulier chez les femmes en surpoids. Ces travaux publi\u00e9s dans Environment International ouvrent des pistes in\u00e9dites pour l\u2019\u00e9tude de l\u2019impact des POPs sur le cancer du sein.
