Le syst\u00e8me permet d\u2019obtenir automatiquement la composition des principaux m\u00e9tabolites pr\u00e9sents dans le sang et les urines gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la r\u00e9sonance magn\u00e9tique. L\u2019information obtenue refl\u00e8te l\u2019expression g\u00e9n\u00e9tique, intrins\u00e8que \u00e0 chaque individu, et l\u2019empreinte externe li\u00e9e par exemple \u00e0 l\u2019effet de l\u2019environnement sur la sant\u00e9. Ce syst\u00e8me est un nouveau pas franchi vers la m\u00e9decine personnalis\u00e9e. Le potentiel de la technique, bas\u00e9 sur le m\u00eame principe que l\u2019IRM, est en cours d\u2019exploration. Ce syst\u00e8me est d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 capable d\u2019identifier les marqueurs pr\u00e9sents dans les <strong>maladies m\u00e9taboliques rares ou orphelines<\/strong>, depuis le nouveau-n\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019adulte. Il sera possible, par exemple, de r\u00e9aliser un profil caract\u00e9ristique de pathologies comme <strong>l\u2019endom\u00e9triose<\/strong> et de proposer un diagnostic pour un individu par rapport \u00e0 des groupes t\u00e9moins, de suivre, ou pourquoi pas de pr\u00e9voir, l\u2019\u00e9volution de la r\u00e9ponse de volontaires \u00e0 de nouveaux traitements contre des <strong>cancers <\/strong>comme les lymphomes, de d\u00e9couvrir des marqueurs de l\u2019effet de <strong>l\u2019exposition de la population \u00e0 des polluants de l\u2019environnement<\/strong>, \u2026 Premi\u00e8re plateforme fran\u00e7aise \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier du syst\u00e8me IVDr, <em>M\u00e9taboParis-Sant\u00e9<\/em> sera une vitrine nationale et un centre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de l\u2019activit\u00e9. Le syst\u00e8me permettra d\u2019analyser chez l\u2019homme des \u00e9chantillons de plasma, s\u00e9rum et urine en g\u00e9n\u00e9rant automatiquement un rapport contenant l\u2019identit\u00e9 et la concentration des principaux m\u00e9tabolites pr\u00e9sents dans l\u2019\u00e9chantillon en moins de 15 min. Les analyses d\u2019urine permettront de mieux caract\u00e9riser les maladies m\u00e9taboliques en mesurant les concentrations d\u2019environ 150 m\u00e9tabolites. Les analyses de sang permettront, par exemple, de permettre une meilleure \u00e9valuation des risques cardio-vasculaires en \u00e9tablissant un profil lipidique contenant 115 param\u00e8tres, plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9 que celui fourni par les laboratoires d\u2019analyse biologique classiques. L\u2019universit\u00e9 de Paris a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9tabli des premiers partenariats avec des h\u00f4pitaux franciliens (H\u00f4pital Necker-Enfants Malades, H\u00f4pital Europ\u00e9en Georges Pompidou, H\u00f4pital Cochin-Port Royal, H\u00f4pital Saint-Louis) afin d\u2019utiliser et de valoriser cette technologie.
